Visit of Villa Barbaro in Maser.
Andrea Palladio is in charge of this project, commissioned by the brothersBarbaro: Marcantonio is an influential political figure of the Republic of Venice; Daniele, Patriarch of Aquileia, cultured and refined, becomes Palladio’s mentor after the death of G.G.Trissino. The villa is an architectural whole of residence and outbuildings, so-called ‘barchesse’. Inside, the villa is decorated with frescoes by Paolo Veronese.
Possibility of a short visit to the winery of Villa Barbaro.
Continue on to the hilltop of Asolo for a free visit.
As a second option, it is possible to go straight to the Villa La Rotonda(admission not included).
When finished, return to Vicenza.
